Camp weeks
Summer 2027, first look.
Every week runs Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 3 PM, at Mansfield Dam Park on Lake Travis. $1,000 per camper, paid once — no deposit, no balance later.
Summer 2027’s weeks aren’t set yet.
We run three or four weeks each summer, eight campers each. The dates for next year aren’t picked, and we’d rather show you nothing than put up a week we can’t promise to run. When they are set, the list below gets the email before they go on this page.
Summer 2027 camp list
Leave your details and we’ll email you the week the dates are set — before they go on this page. Nothing else.
Camp is ages 8 to 14. Tell us anyway if yours is a little under — we’d rather know than guess, and a seven-year-old this summer is eight by next.
Leave these alone if any of them would.
We’ll have you down for: 1 child, ages not given, any month that works. This is not a booking and it does not hold a spot. The dates aren’t picked yet, nothing is charged now, and there’s nothing to pay. When the summer 2027 weeks are set we email this list first — before they go on the page — and you decide then. We only write about camp dates.

Private summer camps
Don’t see a week that works?
We run multi-day private camps for single families or small groups — pick your dates, pick your hours, and we’ll build the camp around your kids. Perfect for visiting cousins, birthday camps, or kids who want private instruction.

Why Monday – Thursday?
Lake traffic picks up significantly on Fridays as boaters head out early for the weekend. Safety is our top priority, and calmer waters mean better learning conditions for wakesurfing and wakeboarding. By ending on Thursday, your camper gets the safest, smoothest water all week long.
Questions
What parents ask.
- How much is Travis Wake Charters summer camp, and how do I pay?
- Camp is $1,000 per camper for the week, paid once at registration by card. There is no deposit and no balance to pay later — one payment and your camper's spot is held.
- What days and hours does camp run?
- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each of the four days, at Mansfield Dam Park on Lake Travis. We finish on Thursday because lake traffic picks up on Fridays and calmer water is safer and better for learning.
- How many kids are in a camp week?
- Eight campers per week, and no more. Multiple families share the week, so your camper meets other kids their age.
- What ages is camp for?
- Ages 8 to 14. Age is worked out from your camper's date of birth against the first day of the week you pick, so a camper who turns 8 before camp starts is eligible.
- Is food included?
- Yes. Lunch, snacks and bottled water are included every day. Tell us about allergies or medical needs on the registration form and we will work around them.
- Do you need a waiver?
- Yes. A parent or legal guardian signs a waiver for each camper. We hand it to you at Monday drop-off and it takes a minute — there is nothing to print or sign in advance.
- What if the week I want is full?
- Call or text 512-839-4573. Waitlists are handled by phone so we can talk to you if a spot opens up, and we can tell you about the other weeks.
- Next summer's dates aren't up yet — can I hold a spot?
- Not yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Until the weeks are set there is nothing to hold and nothing to pay. Whenever no weeks are listed, this page carries a camp list instead — leave your name, email and your campers' ages and that list is emailed the week the dates are set, before they go on the website. It is not a registration, nothing is charged, and it does not reserve a place.
